A wedding weekend in three pictures

This past weekend I was busy with two weddings.  It pretty rare to get a wedding on a random Sunday that is not a holiday but I was happy for the work.

My weekend began on Saturday with Steph and Jason’s wedding at the Fireside Grill in Saanich, Royal Oak area.  The room is a big rectangle that has a Tudor mansion style to it.  I loved the air conditioning the fact that no manager tells you to turn it down.  The party is able to rage, unmolested till 1AM.  Very cool.  Food was great.

Sunday, it was off to Sea Cider in Central Saanich.  One of my favourite winery/farm type venues.  Near the city, but in the country.  I like the classic cider house for the ceremony and the dance party.  The reception is held in a giant tent beside the venue.  Good thing we had the tent because on Sunday night it rained.  Ben and Kimberlee’s friends raged in the light rain, sucking back cider and boogying on the dance floor.

A busy but fun weekend.  The season is winding down… a few events here and there (Sooke next weekend) and preparations for 2013!

Go with yourself.
