Last night I brought the party out west to T’sou-ke to rock a reception at the stunning Sooke Harbour House. This venue is an exceptional site for any Pacific North-West wedding. Sooke is a small town about 40 minutes to an hour west of Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island’s southern rip. This being late October…well it was wet.
The ceremony for Sarah and Nikos’ wedding was held inside. After, portraits headed outside in the rain!
Karen McNeil Photography looked more like a National Geographic photog in her gumboots and raincoat as she directed the couple. Rain doesn’t bother me and it didn’t bother Sarah and Nikos, who took the weather in stride with a cocktail in hand (and huddled under an umbrellas).
One of my favourite spots on the Island rain or shine! Can’t wait till the next wedding adventure to Sooke.
